First Post!

So, here it is. I'm blogging. It might be kind of a long first post so I can fit in what we have been up to lately. I love keeping in contact with people and seeing what everyone is up to which is what I kept a facebook account for. I DO NOT like applications, event invitations, notifications, and other silly time wasters which is why I am starting a blog! So now I can post a little about what is going on with me and my cute boys and anything else that may be going on at the time. Right now, I am trying to get ahead in my school classes so I can enjoy next weekend stress free when we head to Vegas! It's his birthday and he seriously deserves a break. So one or both of the grandma's are going to watch buddy (Taven) while we go party hardy for the weekend.

Taven is the cutest little boy I've ever seen. I know all the other moms think it's their little boy that's the cutest but, unfortunately, that's just not true. Ok, seriously everyone has cute babies, but I'm pretty obsessed with mine. He has developed a fake laugh/cough that he does to get attention and he thinks he is so funny. Just like his parents! He's rolling everywhere like crazy, which makes me wonder if he will ever have the motivation to crawl. He is still trying out different foods and loves all of them so far (even though he has had a few rashes). I can't wait until he can get around and into everything and talk and just drive me absolutely crazy, he will be so fun!

Random thoughts: Me and Nate really want to experience life outside of Utah. We are hoping a job will take us somewhere else and give us a change of scenery full of new adventures. I would love to move around for quite a few years, experience different cultures (as much as I love the Utah culture....), and then end up back in this direction later in life. There is too much to see in the world to grow up here, raise a family here, and end up here. I can't wait to see where life takes us (or hopefully takes us).
